I wish for one night, 
I could bottle up your pain, 
I'd throw it away, 
But my wish is in vain. 

So I'll do what I can, 
And that's to be here for you, 
Somebody you can lean on, 
No matter what you're going through. 

If you ever  need a friend, 
Just call out my name, 
If you need to hide your tears, 
I'll provide the rain.

Offering a touch but not a word, 
I'll be a silent companion, 
And know my message was heard.
